George Plemper

George Plemper is a great photographer. He took the cover image of Pig Iron and I finally got to meet him a recent signing I did in Leeds.

He has written about the book and posted a couple of photographs that he took on the day on his website, which is well worth a trawl if you like photography.

I first discovered his work via his excellent photos of Thamesmead in the 1970s, where George worked as a teacher at the time.
